Simple Overnight Oats

Recipe by Yekaterina Boytsova

This simple overnight oats recipe is the ultimate blank canvas. Our version relies on the comforting trio of vanilla, cinnamon, and maple syrup, but feel free to choose your preferred spices and sweeteners. (Just don’t skip the pinch of salt, which wakes up all the other flavors.) We also like to add chia seeds to boost the fiber and create a more pudding-like texture. With a foolproof 1:1 ratio of oats to milk, breakfast meal prep has never been easier.

  1. Combine all the overnight oats ingredients in a 2-cup glass jar or container with a lid.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 3 days.

  3. To serve, portion some of the oats into a small bowl (about one-third of the mixture or a generous 1/2 cup makes a nice individual portion). Top with fresh fruit, toasted nuts, and a drizzle of sweetener as desired.
