Norwich, Vt. — September 24, 2025 — King Arthur Baking Company is excited to announce season two of Things Bakers Know: The King Arthur Baking Podcast, with returning hosts Jessica Battilana and David Tamarkin. Premiering September 29, 2025, the new season carries on the mix of baking stories, expert advice, guest interviews, and listener Q&As that made season one such a hit — reaching #1 on Apple’s Arts podcast chart and nominated for a Signal Award!
This season, episodes will feature a wide range of voices and topics, from exploring the magic of butter with Dorie Greenspan to discussing the best of Chinatown bakeries with Kristina Cho. Rick Martinez will share the importance of Mexico's Pan de Muerto, while Samantha Seneviratne brings her perspective on baking with kids. Later in the season, listeners can look forward to holiday-themed episodes, including Thanksgiving pie, festive cookies, and more.
“In season two we go deeper — not just into recipes and techniques, but into what makes baking meaningful: the stories, the memories, the ways baking connects us,” says Jessica Battilana, Staff Editor at King Arthur Baking. David Tamarkin, Senior Director of Editorial & Baking Education, adds, “We’ll continue answering listener questions, highlighting voices from across the baking world, and exploring seasonal themes that resonate with home bakers.”
Season two will be available starting September 29 on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, and wherever you listen to podcasts.
