Here's What Makes Us Different
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
We are 100% Employee-Owned. Shares of stock are allocated to employees once a year through our ESOP, a Qualified Retirement Plan.
Profit-Sharing
We distribute a portion of the company’s annual profits to eligible employees, based on company performance. The profit-sharing payout is calculated as a percentage of each employee-owner's base earnings during the fiscal year, and all employees receive the same percentage. The target profit-sharing percentage is 11% of annual earnings but can range from 0% to 20%, depending on the company's profitability in a given year.
Commitment to Community
Up to 40 hours each year of Paid Volunteer Hours and $250 of Matching Donations, as part of our commitment to stewardship and the communities in which we live and work.
The Joy of Baking
Great discounts plus FREE flour and bread each month!

Other Insurances
We offer two dental plans, vision coverage, life insurance, and disability insurance.

We offer both a pre-tax and/or post-tax basis (Roth) with an annual company-matching benefit.

We have resources and tools to support your learning goals, including hands-on classes, virtual training, and peer-to-peer learning. We also offer tuition reimbursement of up to $2,000 per year.
Paid Time Off
We know time away from work is important. We offer 18 to 28 days of paid time off annually based on tenure, plus 4 Personal Days and 7 paid Company Holidays each year.
Parental Leave
To support your growing family, we offer eight weeks of fully paid parental leave, regardless of whether you are the birthing parent. This benefit is available for the birth of a child or the placement of a child through adoption or foster care. If you are the birthing parent, you may additionally qualify for short term disability leave.
Together, Across Every Location
From our hands-on retail stores, baking schools, and manufacturing facility to our hybrid business teams, we’re united by a shared purpose: inspiring the joy of baking. Wherever you work at King Arthur, you’ll be part of a community that learns, grows, and succeeds together.
How We Work
Flexibility at King Arthur Baking isn't one-size-fits-all.
We believe that being together in person deepens relationships, sparks innovation, fosters learning, and strengthens our culture. We also know that flexibility can be a key ingredient in helping our employee-owners thrive.
We use two work location designations:
- Onsite roles, such as manufacturing and retail, require employee-owners to be onsite to deliver their work.
- Hybrid roles provide greater flexibility while requiring some degree of onsite work based on the needs of the department and position.
We share work location expectations in every job posting, so candidates have a clear understanding of what the role requires from the start.
Interview Toolkit
We want you to feel prepared and confident throughout the hiring process. Here’s what you can expect—and how to show up at your best.

Submit your application for the role that best matches your experience and interests. If there’s additional context you'd like us to know—such as relocation plans, a nontraditional career path, or transferable skills—a cover letter is a great way to tell your story. We value authenticity over perfection, so use your own words and help us understand what makes you a strong fit.

If your application appears to be a strong match, a recruiter or hiring manager will connect with you to learn more about your background and answer early questions, typically via a 30-minute phone screen.

If you are selected to move forward, you’ll then meet with members of the team to talk through your experience, approach to work, and how you collaborate.

We’re committed to keeping you informed throughout every stage of the process, so look for proactive follow ups along the way.
Some roles may include additional steps such as skills assessments, in-person interviews, or panel interviews.
