Our Retail Store & Café will be closing early at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, for a company event. Thank you for your understanding. We'll be back open during regular business hours on Thursday, October 1.

The Baguette Effect turns a bakery favorite into an opportunity to give back. During select awareness and celebration months, we donate 50% of baguette sales at our cafe & bakery to a local nonprofit chosen by King Arthur employee-owners. Together, these partnerships support stronger communities.

As a 100% employee-owned company, Employee Ownership Month is especially meaningful to us. It’s a time to celebrate the power of shared ownership and the role employee-owned businesses can play in creating opportunity and strengthening communities

This October, we’re celebrating Employee Ownership Month by donating 50% of all baguette sales at our café and bakery to the Vermont Employee Ownership Center. VEOC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting employee ownership as a way to strengthen businesses, expand opportunity, retain jobs, and support thriving communities across Vermont. 12 to 2 p.m

Bring your budding bakers to the demo kitchen for a fun afternoon! Stop by on the first Saturday of each month between 12 and 2 p.m. to take part in a hands-on baking activity and sample a delicious treat. This free drop-in event is open to everyone and perfect for kids ages 5 and up.

Fall has arrived in the café! Stop by for cozy seasonal treats including apple crumb cake bars, pumpkin whoopie pies, caramel pecan cheesecake, and maple bourbon pecan pie.

We'll be donating 10% of café sales to NOFA-VT's Share the Harvest program, helping provide fresh, locally grown food to Vermont families through community-supported farm shares. Learn more at www.nofavt.org/share-harvest

4:30 to 7 p.m.

Let us do the cooking while you enjoy a cozy evening with friends, family, and community. Join us each month for a comforting dinner in the café, featuring delicious seasonal menus. Enjoy your meal with us or take dinner to go.

October 15: Choose from smoked pulled pork mac & cheese or BBQ seitan mac & cheese, each topped with crispy onions and candied jalapeños and served with a ciabatta roll.

November 12: We're serving up a Friendsgiving feast! Choose from classic New England beef pot roast or vegetarian pot roast, each served with gravy, green bean casserole, and a fresh-baked dinner roll.

December 10: Choose from beef or vegetarian lasagna, each served with Caesar salad and garlic bread. For dessert, head over to the Baking School for Community Cupcake Night. Purchase a four-pack of unfrosted cupcakes ($15) and decorate them alongside our instructors.

Join us in the Demo Kitchen for a closer look at one of baking’s favorite spices: cinnamon! Learn about different varieties and how to use them, see cinnamon in action during a baking demonstration, and of course, enjoy a sample.
