Baker's Rewards Terms & Conditions

Membership

Membership in the King Arthur Baking Baker's Rewards Program is open to individual residents of the United States and its territories who are at least 18 years of age, and who have a valid email address. Companies, schools, clubs, groups, organizations, or others making commercial or bulk purchases are not eligible for membership or rewards.

Baker's Rewards members will be contacted via email regarding important information about their membership, reminders of unused credits, and special members-only promotions.

Customers who provide an email address in-store will be considered enrolled in the Baker's Rewards Program. Customers may also enroll in the Baker's Rewards Program online or over the phone. Customers can opt out at any time by contacting Customer Support. Our team can be reached at 1-800-827-6836 or by emailing customercare@kingarthurbaking.com.

 

Earning Rewards

Baker's Rewards members are eligible for rewards as listed here. Rewards may be changed at any time without communication to members.

In-Store Shopping

Baker’s Rewards and Baker’s Rewards Gold members enjoy a discount of 5% off qualifying purchases in our Norwich, Vermont Café and Retail Store. *Some exclusions apply.

To receive a Rewards discount, shoppers must confirm their membership by either presenting their Baker's Rewards card or their associated email address at the time of purchase.

Percent off Rewards discounts are immediately applied during in-store purchases and such purchases do not contribute towards point accrual or subtract from existing points in a member’s online account.

Instead of the 5% discount, members may choose to redeem accumulated points for corresponding rewards coupons.

Baker's Rewards

Members will earn points, redeemable for discounts on online orders. For every $1 spent on qualifying merchandise, members earn 1 point.

To earn points online, members must log-in with their account information, using the email address associated with their Baker's Rewards account. They may also place their order over the phone with our friendly Customer Support team and provide information that identifies their associated account, such as a corresponding email address.

Qualifying purchases include all regular and sale merchandise. Qualifying purchases do not include gift cards, online gift certificates, or Baking School classes.

Points are not awarded for sales tax or shipping and handling related costs.

Points will not be earned on purchases made prior to joining the Baker's Rewards programs.

Points are not earned on commercial or bulk purchases.

Earned points will appear in the member’s Rewards Dashboard within 24 hours of placing qualifying orders.

After 24 months of inactivity* members are unenrolled from the loyalty program and all remaining points are expired. Expired points are not eligible to be reinstated. Customers may rejoin the loyalty program at any time by opting back in online or by contacting customer service.

*Activity is defined by a qualifying purchase.

Baker's Rewards Gold

Members will earn points, redeemable for discounts on online orders. For every $1 spent on orders under $150 in qualifying merchandise, members earn 1.25 points. For qualifying orders over $150, members earn 1.5 points for every $1 spent.

Once per year, gold members earn a free standard shipping coupon. The coupon is valid with a qualifying $75+ merchandise purchase. This discount applies to all U.S. states and territories; however, orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories will incur a charge of $9.50 to cover the additional cost of shipping via USPS Priority. Free shipping available during select time periods only.

Qualifying purchases include all regular and sale merchandise. Qualifying purchases do not include gift cards, online gift certificates, or Baking School classes.

Enrollment into the Gold Tier is based upon annual spend for qualifying merchandise. Rewards members will be automatically upgraded to Gold if they have spent at least $200 or earned at least 200 points on purchases within that year. Gold Tier memberships are reassessed annually on January 1st. If a member has not met the Gold Tier qualification threshold of an annual spend of $200+ or points earnings of 200+, they will be automatically downgraded to Basic Tier.

Tier qualifying points are points earned on purchases and must be earned within a calendar year. Bonus points (points earned through additional points activities or other clarified conditions) do not count towards the Gold Tier upgrade.

Additional Points Activities

One-time welcome bonus of 50 points for enrolling in the loyalty program.

One-time upgrade bonus of 100 points for enrollment into the Gold Tier. Subsequent enrollments will not qualify for this bonus.

One-time bonus of 10 points for following King Arthur on Instagram with your Loyalty account email address.

Twice per year (one calendar year from the date of their first review submission), customers can earn 10 points per approved products review on our website.

Rewards members will receive 100 bonus points on their birthday; Gold Tier will receive 200. To be eligible for the bonus points, the birthday must be provided 2 days before your birthdate.

 

Points Redemption

Points must be redeemed within a member's account online. King Arthur Baking will occasionally send emails to members notifying them of their active points balance. Unless otherwise specified, points are valid for a period of 180 days from the time of the customer’s last qualifying purchase and must be redeemed for Rewards within that time frame. If points are not redeemed for a reward during this time the points will expire and are not eligible to be reinstated. The expiration date of points can be found by selecting the Check Points Expiry link found on the Rewards Dashboard. In addition, members may receive email reminders to notify them to use their points before they expire. Once points are redeemed to obtain rewards, most rewards will be usable for 60 days or until they are applied to an order.

Applying Rewards to Online Orders

Rewards may be used toward the future purchase of merchandise made online at kingarthurbaking.com. Rewards will not apply toward the purchase of gift cards, online gift certificates, previous purchases, shipping and handling fees, taxes, or Baking School classes. Rewards cannot be used to purchase King Arthur Baking products from other retailers such as, but not limited to, grocery stores and online retailers.

King Arthur Baking will occasionally send emails to members notifying members of their active rewards. Most rewards are valid for a period of 60 days from the time of their creation and must be redeemed within that time frame. If rewards are not redeemed during this time they will expire and are not eligible to be reinstated. In addition, members may receive email reminders to notify them to use their rewards before they expire.

One reward can be redeemed per transaction. The final transaction total must be equal to or greater than the value of the rewards discount being redeemed; no cash or credit will be given for unused rewards. Cannot be combined with other serialized discounts or promotion codes.

Rewards discounts will not be refunded on returns.

Rewards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for store credit.

Single-use rewards are issued to the individual member and may not be copied, transferred, sold, or shared/posted online.

For purchases in our Café or Retail Store, member’s retail discount is applied at the time of purchase and will not add to points associated with member's online Baker’s Rewards account. Rewards may not be used towards previous purchases from King Arthur Baking.

 

Your Rewards Account

Baker's Rewards and Baker's Rewards Gold members are responsible to notify Customer Service of any changes to their Rewards account including name, address, email and phone number.

Baker's Rewards Plus

Free standard shipping with a minimum merchandise purchase of $25.

Free standard shipping is valid with a $25 merchandise purchase. This discount applies to all U.S. states and territories; however, orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories will incur a charge of $9.50 to cover the additional cost of shipping via USPS Priority.

Your merchandise total consists of the sum of the products you've placed in your shopping cart and does not include any sales tax, shipping fees, gift cards, Baker’s Rewards Plus membership, or Baking School classes.

The Baker's Rewards Plus program is in transition and is being retired. Annual dues will no longer be charged to the credit/debit card on file. Current membership free shipping rewards will be honored until they’ve met their subscription completion date. The Baker's Rewards Plus membership is non-refundable; however, a membership renewal is fully refundable within one month following its renewal date as long as it has not been used within that time. To cancel a membership, call our friendly Customer Service team at 1-800-827-6836 or send us an email with your cancellation request.

 

Program Terms

King Arthur Baking may, at any time, terminate the Baker's Rewards programs or change the program rules, regulations, benefits or conditions of participation, in whole or in part, without prior notice of further obligation to Rewards Program members.

Participation in Baker's Rewards Programs is void where prohibited by law.

King Arthur Baking is not responsible for communication errors, including distribution and/or notification of rewards, due to a change of email address or contact information.

King Arthur Baking reserves the right to terminate Baker's Rewards and Baker's Rewards Gold membership and void rewards if it determines that a member violated any program terms and conditions or applicable laws, earned rewards via deception, forgery, fraud or committed any other abuse of the Baker's Rewards programs.
