Lasheeda Perry is a pastry chef by profession and a dessert queen at heart. Her sweet inspiration for creating beautiful pastries comes from her love of adventure, nature, and her friends and family. She loves to experience the world around her by creating delectable desserts that are not only delicious but also encompass the beauty that life has to offer.

Lasheeda owns and runs Queen of Flavor LLC, a company that specializes in everything from revamping restaurant menus to helping clients design and execute their dream dessert for a special event.

She has always had a passion for culinary arts, and luckily for people with a sweet tooth everywhere, this love has materialized into a successfully rewarding career. Prior to creating Queen of Flavor, she received her culinary education from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, and has studied abroad in Ireland, Australia, and China to enhance her culinary skills.  

Before opening her dessert tasting room in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Lasheeda worked across America as an Executive Pastry Chef for the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Bon Appétit Management Company at LinkedIn. She also teaches fun-filled pastry classes for the King Arthur Baking School, Baking School On-Demand, and the Food Network Kitchen App.

When not surpassing expectations in the kitchen, Lasheeda continues to travel and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Her love for desserts runs deep. Her motto is “simple ingredients, sophisticated flavors.” She is obsessed with creating delicious desserts that people love. 

When she isn’t traveling the world or in the kitchen, Lasheeda enjoys sharing her knowledge with young chefs. As a Johnson & Wales University Distinguished Visiting Chef, Lasheeda has traveled to Providence and Frankford High School in Philadelphia, showing rising chefs that when you believe in yourself, anything and everything is possible.
