Gluten-Free Deep Dark Fudgy Brownies

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8" or 9" square pan or half-sheet pan.

2. Whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add 1-2 cups of nuts or chips, if desired.

3. Stir in eggs, oil, and water, mixing until evenly blended. Spoon mixture into pan, smoothing the top.

4. Bake for 45 minutes for 8" pan, 35 minutes for 9" pan, or 28 minutes for half-sheet pan. A cake tester inserted into center will come out with a few moist crumbs clinging to it.

5. Cool on rack for 1 hour before slicing.
