About Ashley Rodriguez
Ashley has been cooking and talking about food since she got her first pasta machine when she was 9, and maybe even before then. Professionally, she started working in restaurant kitchens on the pastry side and then found her way to writing and photography through her blog, Not Without Salt. Since then she's written two cookbooks, Date Night In and Let’s Stay In. She started an outdoor cooking, foraging, hunting, and fishing series with her brother called Kitchen Unnecessary (which earned a James Beard nomination) and spends her days cooking, writing about cooking, eating, and dreaming about what to cook next.
