Orange Pound Cake
This golden cake is dense, moist, and tastes just like a Creamsicle®. The topping is optional; but its sweet-tart flavor (from a combination of citric acid and superfine sugar) is what takes this cake from ordinary to tantalizing orange bliss. For an extra hit of Creamsicle®, toast both sides of a slice in a lightly buttered skillet, then top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
