Mix together the wet and dry ingredients until they're just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy; that's OK.
Pour the waffle batter into your greased, preheated waffle maker and bake according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Serve Gingerbread Waffles warm, with butter and maple syrup as desired. Store any leftover waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several days. Reheat Gingerbread Waffles before serving.
