King Arthur Baking Company Cake4Kids Tote Design Competition

King Arthur Baking Co. is calling for artists to apply to design our annual Cake4Kids tote, which will be sold in our retail locations and online. The icing on top: all proceeds from this tote will support Cake4Kids, an organization that delivers free custom homemade birthday cakes to at-risk and underserved youth across the country.

Your Design Here! Tote

About this Competition:

We will select 1 artist to create a square-format design for us to print on our Cake4Kids tote. We will sell this tote at our retail locations and online, donating a portion of all proceeds to Cake4Kids. Your artwork will have a limited color palette, that we will inform you of, and must feature…CAKE!

Eligibility:

Artists who are 18 years or older and reside in Vermont are welcome to apply.

How to Apply:

Submissions are now closed.

If you're selected:

  • Selected artist will be notified by November 25, 2025
  • We will pay the selected artist $2,000 for their cake artwork
  • You can design as small or large as you’d like, as long as the artwork is in a square format
  • You must share your concept to our team prior to designing
  • Artwork will be limited to 5 colors: PMS 186, PMS 130, PMS 2925, black, and white
  • You must send a high resolution, digital image of your finished artwork to tomlynn.biondo@kingarthurbaking.com
  • Artists should sign the bottom right corner of the front of their artwork
  • We will own full rights to re-use your cake artwork on other merchandise and for marketing purposes
