I get a lot of gaps with my cinnamon rolls too, my filling is softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. I'm excited to try your tips, but I wonder if I have to omit butter entirely? If I keep the butter but say, add flour, or brush with egg wash before I spread the filling, would it still work?
