Thanks so much for giving this recipe a go, Berta! We're sorry to hear that the exterior of your bread got a bit overdone though. When you placed the bread in the oven did you lower the temperature of the oven to 450°F? If not, we'd recommend lowering the temperature to help prevent the scorching. We hope this helps for future baking adventures!
