My mother in law would always have her pie crumbs on hand! I have never done it, but will be giving it a try this Thanksgiving. I use a combination of Crisco and Butter in my pie crusts, usually. Would this freeze method work with the combination? I'm happy to go with pure butter, but it is Nov of 2022 and the cost of butter is through the roof and I have a lot of crisco on hand. Thanks
