We're sorry they didn't get hard enough and took so long. Stoves vary widely, and that can have a real affect on your timing. It could also be the width of your pot. Please contact the Baker's Hotline and we can help more. By the way, I would try using some of it in the bottom of a tart, or remelted and poured over vanilla ice cream. Laurie@KAF
