For the first time in 55 yrs, I made my Pumpkin Pie crusts using butter rather than Crisco. It was quite
a dream to roll out and crimp. However: Even using the pie-edge covers, the crust burnt !! The only variable
I can think of was that I may have used a rack that was higher than the usual. And my beautiful crimping...just
all flowed together during baking. Any thoughts here?
