My grandchildren have dairy allergies but love biscuits etc. Could I use soy milk and vegetable margerine instead of milk & butter to make these or would it make them tough? I have had good luck substituting soy in some baking recipes. Your substitutions should work fine! Just make sure to not to overwork your dough, otherwise it will become tough.-Jon
