I noticed this recipe on a bag of flour recently. Followed the recipe exactly, but took the pan out of the oven a minute or two early; scattered chocolate chips across the top. Put the pan back into the oven for that last minute or two. When I took it out, used a knife to (lightly) spread the melted chocolate chips over the top. I have been making chocolate chip bars for years but these were the best ever!
