I saw the sub for buttermilk. Would I be able to use soy or almond milk instead of regular milk? Would I need to make any additional adjustments? Thanks! You could use soy or almond milk without making any changes to the recipe. One of our bakers uses rice milk in many cake recipes and has success with it. ~ MaryJane
