I made this recipe in a loaf pan, adding 1 cup chocolate chips to the batter before baking and scatter some chips on top instead of icing. So delicious and very chocolately. I made it for my chocoholic boyfriend who hates coffee. I did include the espresso powder and he did not notice (but I didn't think I could slip the coffee icing past him so left that part out). Always looking for recipes to use up my starter discard and I think this is my new go-to.
