Host of the long-running Food Network and Cooking Channel\u0027s \u003Cem\u003ESweet Dreams\u003C\/em\u003E, Gand has appeared on \u003Cem\u003EIron Chef America\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EMartha Stewart\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EBaking With Julia (Child)\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EThe Oprah Winfrey Show\u003C\/em\u003E, and judged Bravo\u0027s \u003Cem\u003ETop Chef\u003C\/em\u003E and \u003Cem\u003ETop Chef Just Desserts\u003C\/em\u003E, and many more. Gale was asked by Mayor Daley to create a special dessert to serve to the President of China on his 2011 visit to Chicago. Gand is also an accomplished cookbook author with seven titles to her credit including her most recent, \u003Cem\u003EGale Gand\u0027s Brunch\u003C\/em\u003E. She has her own root beer company producing Gale\u0027s Root Beer, has a BFA from RIT, and attended culinary school at La Varenne in Paris. She is currently teaching cooking classes for adults and children at Elawa Farm in Lake Forest, Illinois an historic organic farm.
