She has worked in small bakery caf\u00e9s, has production baking experience, and ran her own small business for a short while.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBeing raised in a predominantly Pennsylvania Dutch family, she is known for carrying on her paternal grandmother\u2019s \u201cFat Tuesday\u201d recipe for Fastnachts (a potato-based fried doughnut that is square, not round, and does not have a round hole in the center). Bethany loves ALL baked goods equally, but she especially loves baking anything with yeast. While it changes often, her current favorite King Arthur recipe is Gluten-Free Neapolitan-Style Pizza, with her favorite kitchen tool being a simple digital scale.
